Don’t Burn the House Down

Don’t Burn the House Down is a match holder designed to hold around 100 matches in a spiral around a central candle. When full, it forms a continuous circular pattern with a balanced, sculptural presence. The project was inspired by the quiet ritual of lighting something intentionally. Removing and striking a match becomes a small but conscious decision to transform a candle, a piece of paper, a letter, or any object tied to the act of burning.
